No Kings 2.0 10.18.2025

No kings 2

Paul is hosting an event right here in Zillah on the corners of Vintage Valley Parkway and 1st Avenue from 10:30am to noon (our tasting room will be closed during that time).

This will be a joyful demonstration complete with a bubble machine! Bring a sign, or use one of ours. We are protesting what is happening in our country and to our Constitution. If you think these are issues, come join us.

Be there or be square! Use this link to find an event near you: https://www.nokings.org/?SQF_SOURCE=indivisible#map

Here is a letter that Paul had published recently in our local paper:

I just got home from participating in the Sunfair Parade with Indivisible Yakima.

I was both very disappointed and pleased.

My disappointment was the fairly small number of participants, a few dozen walked the parade. 75% of the adult population thinks our administration is off track. There should be millions peacefully assembling to address their grievances to our government, and thousands on Yakima Ave. today. It is called being an involved citizen. 1st Amendment!

The pleased aspect? Many folks responded positively to our messages. I’ve been peacefully assembling on the streets for a while and WOW, the support is amazing. For every one finger fascist salute I get 50-100 positive responses.

You have an opportunity again on October 18, NO KINGS 2.0. Or you can be: a coward? complicit? complacent? apathetic? . . .

Are you willing to do nothing? What will you tell your descendants? “Grandpa, Mom, what did you do to stop the secret police and concentration camps back in the 20s?”

To the two males today who loudly spoke out against the sign that read; PROUD ANTIFAscist Liberal? Thank you for identifying yourself to your community. If you are anti ANTIFAscist doesn’t that mean you are pro fascist? Please explain why not.

I have a relative buried in Italy, several who came home from Europe and the South Pacific with Purple Hearts. They bled and died opposing Fascism, so you could shout that crap in public and not be beaten. I support the 1st Amendment. I’m not going to stop you from shouting out against the Constitution. I stood up today for your right to spew that crap.

The Constitution of the United States is our Owners Manual to avoid Fascism, Oligarchy, Tyranny, Despots, it is an ANTIFAscist guide.

October 18, 2025, is developing into what may be the largest protest, demonstration, political action in US history.

Thousands of planned actions all over our country, and dozens in other countries in support of Americans who believe in our Constitution. There is an action near you. Indivisible.org

Get on the bus. Get off the couch. Come out and defend The Constitution of the United States.

I’ll be on the streets of Zillah with other citizens. If you are fearful, you aren’t alone. Feel free to dress like those thugs working for ICE. Wear masks, gloves, hats, dark glasses, no ID, it’s still our country. 1st Ave and Vintage Valley Parkway, 10:30-Noon

Get dropped off in the Zillah Cemetery, The Teapot, MacDonald’s, park downtown, walk a few blocks. Tell us you prefer to be anonymous, we will respect your privacy.

Register and vote. If your vote didn’t matter there wouldn’t be voter suppression and billionaires trying to influence you. Please, for our country, don’t be among the 40% who don’t bother.

Paul Vandenberg, proud member of families that have defended the Constitution and opposed Fascism since at least 1858.

I’m a winegrower whose father taught history and geography in high school and at home.
