We are stopping the production of new wines. We will only have a tiny production of 30 or so cases of Wiggly in 2024.
Selling grapes: We have been selling some for the past couple of vintages with state-record prices for Chenin Blanc, Riesling, and Sémillon.
We have wine in tanks and barrels to bottle in the next two years.
We anticipate selling bottles for another five years. We are Slow Wine producers.
Someone may come along to take over the operation. We are open to some sort of partnership, perhaps sweat equity?
The dream would be for someone to buy the brand and all the case goods so Barbara can quit being tied to her computer. She’d rather make jewelry, cross stitch, walk, read, and watch movies. And maybe even travel again!
We really don’t want to sell the house and move. Sell 18 acres? Yeah, maybe. But I don’t want to give up the garden I’ve developed over 20 years! I’ve left too many behind and had to start over from scratch.
