Updated FAQ Regarding Our Retirement

B P Rose

After much consideration, we have stopped producing new wines. We anticipate selling bottles for another five years. We are Slow Wine producers. This is where you come in. The faster we can sell our existing stock, the sooner we can retire!

We are still selling grapes. For the past couple of vintages, we have been selling some at state-record prices for Chenin Blanc, Riesling, and Sémillon.

Someone may come along to take over the operation. We are open to some sort of partnership, perhaps sweat equity?

The dream would be for someone to buy the brand and all the case goods so Barbara can quit being tied to her computer. She’d rather make jewelry, cross stitch, walk, read, and watch movies. And maybe even travel again!

We really don’t want to sell the house and move. Sell 18 acres? Yeah, maybe. But I don’t want to give up the garden I’ve developed over 20 years! I’ve left too many behind and had to start over from scratch.
