Glass vs. Plastic Wine Glasses

Wine glass

Which is better? Take two wine glasses that look exactly the same although one is glass and one is plastic. Would this one difference actually change the taste of the wine?

The answer is a resounding “Yes!”

The same wine tastes much better in a wine glass made from real glass than a wine glass made from plastic. Try it at home and see for yourself.

The next time you go wine tasting, and you need to have your own wine glass, come by our place and purchase one of our tasting glasses, for only $3. The INAO (Institut National des Appelations d’Origine) has long been the designer of a tasting glass for serious wine buffs. It is in general use in Europe. It is 6 inches tall and holds 7 1/4 ounces.

They are small and easy to carry around if you need to have a wine glass with you to go tasting (required in some places during special events). We always have plenty on hand so you can just come with your taste buds.

Friends don’t let friends drink from plastic!
