As many of you know, we are trying to retire. What is stopping us, you ask? First, we need to sell most of our existing bottled wine and also sell or lease the vineyard.
However, the number of people coming to any tasting room has diminished, including ours, even with our no-tasting-fee policy. The number of people buying wine through our newsletter has also diminished, even though over 50% of you open it every month (and that is counting the ones that never or rarely open it).
How has your approach to wine changed since 2019? Have you stopped visiting wineries?
What can we do better? Do you have any ideas? We would love to hear from you. Is our pricing out of whack? Do we need to change the sales wines more often? Please help us figure this out. Thank you!!
