Red Wine and Chocolate!

Ten chocolate bites with wine Tuesday, February 13 – Monday, February 19

There has been a lovely trend in the approach to Valentine’s Day.

It originated as a Christian feast day honoring one or two early Christian Martyrs, both named Saint Valentine. Must have been a popular name back then! This day, honoring two guys who died, somehow became a symbol of romantic love. Great for the floral, greeting card, chocolate, and restaurant businesses.

But younger people are expanding this day, celebrating love, to include the love of friends. Guy pals and gal pals. The 13th of February is becoming this adjunct to the 14th, expanding this celebration of love beyond the male/female romantic relationship. It has become known as Palentine’s Day and Galentine’s Day.

We applaud this!

Consequently, we are expanding our Red Wine and Chocolate experience to before, during, and after Valentine’s Day. So, here at Paradisos, the experience will be available from Saturday 2/11 through Monday 2/20. Come visit and find a wine to share with your loved ones and a meal. Of course, chocolate and cacao will be the featured players.

We will also be handing out silk flowers for you and your sweetie and if you are Green Thumb folks let’s talk gardening. I may have some seeds to share!

Plan a romantic getaway and celebrate a late Valentine’s at Paradisos del Sol Winery and Organic Vineyard. Enjoy our micro-mini-Lilliputian 10-course under-50-calories winemaker’s snack, ten tiny nibbles all include cacao/chocolate: 7 savory and 3 sweet. Below are some details:

Explore your senses and taste our Rojo Paradisos paired with teeny tiny tacos with chocolate chipotle chicken molé; Rosé Paradiso with cacaó-mushroom pâté; Oyster White with Brie dusted with cocoa powder; Sève with chocolate-peanut sauce; B’s Blend with an artichoke heart, basil, cacaó pesto sauce; and Sangiovese with pepperoni dipped in dark chocolate.

We always celebrate with dessert!

Enjoy the sweet succulent combination of Zort wine with Intrigue Chocolate‘s Guajillo Chili chocolate bar and the PMS with Intrigue Chocolate‘s Ugandan dark chocolate. Top off your experience with a skosh of vegan pumpkin custard dusted with cocoa, a perfect complement to our Angelica MRS.

Our usual $15 tasting fee is waived during Red Wine and Chocolate. Returning customers enjoy wine discounts from 10% to 50%.

And here you are thinking, “I am busy then, but I still want to experience this!” We have put together a romantic chocolate dinner idea for you. Click here for the complete idea
